Twice this week, I've received IM spam almost immediately after posting to livejournal, both times from someone with 'salmon' in the username. Today it was 'arcanesalmon'. I've gone ahead and removed my aim screenname from my profile. Dee has often complained about the IM spam she receives, while I rarely if ever see any, and given how much more prolific of a poster she is, I wonder if livejournal is the major source of her spam.

I'm going to guess that their target market doesn't really want to bomb anyone's womb.

(and I really should stop being lazy ... it was over thanksgiving that I had to perform the server reinstall, and I still haven't properly set up my anti-spam regiment, so I see far too much spam these days)
